In this ear training video, Geoff Peters talks about the concept of “Intervals” in music and shows how to play a Perfect 5th and a Minor 7th on the piano.

There is a short Quiz section where Geoff invites the viewer to identify some intervals, and then Geoff finishes off the video with a performance of his original song “Wild Thing” (which makes use of the Minor 7th).

Wild Thing is a song that is inspired by the movie Where the Wild Things Are, and you can download the MP3 for it from Geoff’s website.
